I had the best Valentine's Day of my life, thanks to my amazing husband.  We had a romantic evening with sparkling apple-grape by candlelight.  :)

P.S. I didn't know that you could get lens flare with tiny candles.  Apparently 5 second exposures can do crazy things :)

Also, I don't know why there is a white box around these words, but I can't make it go away.

Saturday I had a fun Valentine's shoot with Emily and Wesley.  I love it when people pick a location that is so them.  Wesley worked at this planetarium and so we got to go in when no one else was there.

On friday we went to an institute dance.  That was the first time we'd gone dancing since our wedding :)

We're getting alot of these lightning bugs in our house all of a sudden.  I found one today and couldn't resist putting him in a stand off with my husband's waiting shoe.

Sorry I didn't post this yesterday, but I had a good reason...
It was my birthday!  :)
My mom makes the most wonderful oreo cheesecake.  I have it as my birthday cake every year.

My sister was baptized today.  It was a nice special evening.  The dress she was baptized in has been worn by every girl cousin on that side of the family that has been baptized.  My grandma made it, and she also embroidered each of the girl's names into it.  It's so cool.

I got to see some of my bestest friends today.  Here's one of them, and she is just so cute.  She asked me to take a picture of her to go on her missionary plaque.  She's gonna be an awesome missionary. :)

Sorry I didn't post this yesterday, we were out late.  We had my birthday dinner a few days early.  Of course we went to Costa Vida.  But unlike usual this time we got fried ice cream as well as dinner.  Yum!  Afterwards we watched a ton of Twilight Zone episodes.  It was perfect :)

The infamous Banksy has struck Salt Lake City.  If you haven't seen this artist's work, I highly recommend it.  It's clever and wacky, and also extremely talented.  He left a lovely piece here in SLC, but unfortunately the city decided that it was 'graffiti' and decided to remove most of it.  At least they left the boy's head.  And they also left the real graffiti that was right next to it.  Way to go guys.  But Banksy had the last laugh, returning after his other piece had been removed to add 3 yellow rats to the scene.  I feel honored to have been able to see something of Banksy's in person.

I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday!  I took lots of pictures, but I fell asleep before I got to posting one here.  Whoops.  My husband's cousin had his missionary farewell yesterday, and afterwards they had a little 'fiesta' because he's going to a spanish-speaking mission.  Check out the little ducky with the maracas.  Haha.
